Which players has made the pundit's EPL weekly best XI?

Each set of English football games this season, football pundit Troy Deeney presents his selections and manager of the Week.

Here are this week's picks. Do you agree? Share your thoughts with the feedback section further down.

Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham might have been six goals down at Bournemouth without him. Key display, delivered and displayed some quality. Excellent keeping to secure a 2-2 draw. Losing would have damaged their whole season.

Backline

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for top performer. People will talk Arsenal's squad. He's been the standout player without doubt.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): You'd have been a wild optimist to say 'He scores and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got huge prices on that. He was excellent. He's becoming a powerhouse. He can really be a challenge. Pleased to watch him perform like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties because he was making mistakes. But at Newcastle he's been dominant. He displays really strong and imposing and seems polished. It appears he has secured a ideal club.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a left-back, leaning towards a attacking-minded offensively. He has proven to be a great purchase for Brighton. Few are astonished at them finding another gem from obscurity? I thought when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan that was strange but Brighton know more than us.

Central players

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they're in for the shared purpose. Their teams won, many mention about the goalscorers, but without these two the squads falter. They perform brilliantly. They break up play, they join the offense.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. A lot of followers, including my son, were questioning if he could be the man to lead them to success. Three strikes in the local rivalry and supporters now wish to erect a monument of him. Goals, composure, he controlled the game. The top performer on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it's going to be very difficult to leave him out. My view was his beginning was strong the term, I think he seemed somewhat presumptuous and hoped he might secure a transfer to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he appears to have settled down. Two great goals in the Leeds match pulled his side when trailing. He made the impact.

Attackers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he doesn't look his normal self. He looked like his pace had gone. But wow. That's all I can say. He was excellent. Phenomenal in his approach and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He excels, often more effective when introduced, but with Gordon sidelined so he has to play. He failed to convert a great opportunity against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. But to have the inner resilience to enter into difficult situations and get a brace was impressive.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and outperforms Arne Slot. A excellent strategy. It might have been multiple goals for Forest and all would agree.
